This post should have been written yesterday, but yesterday I was too tired from playing all day xD, so it became today’s post. The background is this~ Yesterday I woke up to beautiful weather, with bright sunshine, so I happily went to ride bikes in Tamsui. I was originally planning to ride in Tamsui, but when I crossed the Guandu Bridge, a thought suddenly popped into my head: I’ve ridden in Tamsui many times, but I’ve never ridden in Bali. So the plan changed from a Tamsui trip to a Bali trip XD

Itinerary: my home -> Taipei MRT Daan Station -> Taipei MRT Guandu Station -> Guandu Bridge -> Bali -> Guanhai Avenue -> back home~

Bali is commonly known as the left bank, opposite the right bank of Tamsui, since they’re on either side of the Tamsui River. As for the bike paths on the two sides, I think the left bank (Bali) is better for ordinary people, because there are very few steep sections. Almost the entire bike path is flat, unlike Tamsui, which has more ups and downs. And if you want to browse the internet while cycling, don’t go to Bali unless you use 3G. When I went yesterday, I searched for a long time without seeing a 7-11 (WiFly hotspot). I finally found a convenience store in Bali and managed to connect to the internet! Also, a reminder: if you go on a weekend or holiday, don’t think about “taking a boat from Tamsui to Bali and then riding bikes in Bali.” Weekends are crowded. When you see the length of the line in Tamsui, you’ll want to give up…. The smarter route is to ride across the Guandu Bridge~~ It’s actually faster that way.

Enough talk, here are the photos~~

▲▲This one makes me seriously suspect my camera auto-edits photos XD. I definitely don’t have skin this white.

▲▲▼▼From here on, there are more people. You have to walk, not ride.

▲▲The first 7-11 I found in Bali. Lots of people, and the internet is slow… sigh

▲▲Riding along Guanhai Avenue, I noticed everyone was riding in and then following each other~
