Two years. Not short, not long. I’ve gone from a junior high student back then to a first-year high school student now. I went through the Basic Competence Test (jīcè), went through a lot, and learned a lot. My blog has also changed, from the very first one, “Simple, Non-Computer” (Jiǎndān Fēi Diànnǎo) on Wretch, a Taiwanese blog service, all the way to today’s WordPress blog, “The Wind Chaser” (Zhú Fēng Zhě). Time really flies, and two years have just passed like that!! It feels like a blink of an eye, just like when I graduated from elementary school and couldn’t help looking back on those years, even all the way back to kindergarten, and realized six years had slipped away. It’s a little sentimental, but also quite happy, because I’ve grown up XD, and so has my blog ^^

The blog’s second anniversary, and there isn’t really much to say in this post. The biggest recent news is that my traffic has moved up another level (breaking 500 IPs in a single day). Other than that, there isn’t much else to say. What I really want to talk about is the direction the blog will take in the future. It will probably move toward a more professional focus. Looking at the Google Analytics reports over these two years, I’ve discovered that my readers are mostly teenagers. So every time exam season comes around, my traffic drops out of proportion. To prevent this, I’m going to move in a more professional direction. To put it plainly, future posts will mostly be about things like Linux, various programming languages, Google, and virtual machines. Of course, I’ll still occasionally write about software.

I’ve closed down the very first blog, “Simple, Non-Computer” ▼▼
