In the first stage of the final chapter of Detention, you can swap identities after talking with the soul fragment, and then you need to cross the broken classroom to reach the door on the other side. In the final chapter, you can talk to Fang Ruixin’s soul fragment and swap identities. The stage that comes next probably puzzles a lot of players!

According to the hint from the other Fang Ruixin, you need to lead her through the classroom to the other side, but the classroom is broken! You may have also noticed that after talking to the other Fang Ruixin, you can swap identities, and the classroom becomes connected and normal again. Also, when the player leaves the classroom and moves right, the double follows you. The problem is that the door on the other side is locked, so you can’t get in!

After the conversation, the scene changes.

Fang Ruixin’s double follows you.

The solution to this stage isn’t actually that hard, but it’s really not easy to think of. To keep the fun of the game, here’s a hint first. If you still can’t figure it out after reading the hint, scroll down!

Hint: the double follows the player, but if the player goes to another floor, the double stops following.

Still can’t figure it out? The broken classroom is on the second floor. When the player goes down to the first floor, the double stops following you. The solution applies exactly this rule. First, after talking to swap identities (the classroom becomes normal), leave the classroom and move right, leading the double to the other door. Keep moving until you reach the stairs, then go down the right-side stairs. By then, the double is already stuck at the door on the right. Next, go up the left-side stairs on the first floor to the second floor (moving clockwise). Enter the classroom through the left-side door, walk to the far right, and talk to the double to complete the task!

In short: move clockwise, go down the right-side stairs from 2F, walk through the 1F hallway, go up the left-side stairs on 1F, enter the classroom, and keep going right.
