I actually discovered that Google can look up movie showtimes when I went to see a movie with a “friend” last time. We had agreed to see a movie, but we didn’t know what time it was playing, so I looked it up online. To my surprise, I found something that shocked me: Google, the all-powerful, even has movie showtimes = = .. And it’s very complete! Google may be a god, but even a god shouldn’t be greedy, you know~~ (I’m lecturing Google!!) Enough chatter, let’s get straight to this Google movie showtimes search feature.
Website: http://www.google.com.tw/movies
.
Using this site is very simple. As soon as you go in, you’ll see a search box. Type in the movie title and click “Search Movies.” If you want showtimes for a specific theater, just add the theater’s name after the movie title.
You can also check showtimes for today as well as the coming days. Just click “Tomorrow, Tuesday………” below the search box, and the corresponding showtimes will appear.
Beyond that, does it have any other features? Of course it does! After all, it’s a site I’ve come to love. The feature I’m about to introduce is perfect for people who get lost easily XD This feature is maps~~~
If you’re going to a theater you’ve never been to, you can click the “Map” link next to the theater’s name, and it will take you straight to Google Maps.
Overall, this site is actually quite useful. Although you can find movie showtimes with any regular search engine, here you can also look at the map at the same time. And unlike a regular search engine, where you have to pick through the results yourself, this site automatically selects the right information for you.
