Remember how I bought a Korean-brand netbook last time? I've already returned it, because I simply couldn't stand how slow netbooks are. Maybe I'm just too used to fast computers (there's a pun here: "Kansai" is pronounced the same as the Chinese word for "relationship"). After returning the netbook, I bought an iPod Touch. Anyone who doesn't know much about the iPod Touch might think I'm silly for buying an iPod. But the iPod Touch = iPhone, get it?? Apart from lacking the built-in camera and phone functions, the iPod Touch is exactly the same as the iPhone. It can also download apps from the iTunes App Store, so it's not like a regular iPod. And with Skype installed, the iPod Touch can even make phone calls!Actually, when I went to Guanghua Market yesterday to buy the iPod Touch, I was still wondering whether I should buy it, because I was afraid I’d be unhappy with it afterward. As it turned out, I was overthinking. Although the shop (the author plays on the Chinese name for Apple with a homophone) is a bit of a rip-off…, overall I’m pretty satisfied with the product. When I first got the iPod Touch, I even thought the boss had taken some accessories out and not given them to me, because the iPod Touch plus all its accessories fit in one small box. But that’s fine, since there’s no excessive packaging, unlike my last netbook, which was overpackaged to the extreme.
But yesterday I was really exhausted. As soon as school let out, I rushed to a convenience store to check whether my refund had been deposited. When I saw the money come in, I was over the moon. I even invited a classmate to go to Guanghua with me, but in the end I went alone, because my classmate had to go to cram school first. At Guanghua, I browsed for a full hour, bought everything on my list, and went home. Once I sat down in a chair, I felt like my legs had snapped off, and they still ache until now @@ (I want a wheelchair XD)
Yesterday, besides the iPod Touch unit at Guanghua, I also bought some accessories, such as a hard protective shell, a protective case, and a matte screen protector. I think these are the most basic things, because without them it scratches very easily. When I bought the iPod Touch, the boss offered to throw in a “lazy person’s pack” (a bundled set of accessories), but I said no thanks and just asked for a discount. And the boss really took NT$190 off^^
Now let’s take a proper look at the unboxing~
▼▼The packaging really is just this!!
▼▼The box is so pretty I can keep it XD
▼▼Peel off that sticker and you can open it
▼▼The main unit (oops, a typo on my part @@) makes its appearance
▼▼I’ve already taken it to get a matte screen protector, so I peeled off the sticker that was on the iPod Touch
▼▼Back of the iPod Touch

▼▼The first time you use it, you have to install iTunes first
▼▼I also bought a back cover separately. It helps prevent scratches, and the back is less likely to get oily fingerprints. But this case is really expensive = = NT$790!
▼▼Front view with the back cover on. There’s a white line along the edge frame.

▼▼Standby mode, my little brother’s silly face XD
▼▼The iPod Touch home screen. I’ve already installed some apps.
▼▼Be careful when plugging in the cable: the side with the horizontal-line mark should face up
